Are you an Aspiring SEND Therapist?
If so, we are looking to appoint an Aspiring SEND Therapist on behalf of a large and Outstanding Hounslow School.
Aspiring SEND Therapist
- Full-time contract until September 2026 – July 2027 (Term-time only)
- Support pupils identified as ‘at risk’ and/or with severe learning difficulties
- Ideal for an Aspiring Educational Psychologist or Aspiring SEND Therapist.
Experience in the field is vital to you achieving your goal of becoming a fully SEND Therapist and this large school have between 60-70 children on the SEN register with a variety of behavioural, emotional, social and medical needs.
As an Aspiring SEND Therapist, you will work as an SEN Teaching Assistant to provide a high level of emotionally intelligent support whilst working with their most vulnerable children.

- Professional Development: While working and building your experience you will undertake professional development from internal and external training courses and be partnered with qualified specialists within the field.
- Collaboration: You will also be working alongside Educational Psychologists and Speech and Language Therapists.
- Qualifications: For this role you will need to have graduated from a top 30 University in the UK and achieved a degree with a 2:1 or higher.
- Experience: Experience in the education and SEN sector is vital for this role!
