Aspiring Science Teacher - What the Role Involves
- Supporting and co-delivering Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 under the guidance of qualified colleagues
- Gradually taking on increasing classroom responsibility as confidence, subject knowledge, and teaching skills develop
- Assisting with practical lesson preparation and supporting pupils safely and effectively in laboratory settings
- Contributing to small-group intervention and enrichment activities within the Science department
- Reflecting actively on classroom experience and engaging fully with the school's mentoring and development programme

Aspiring Science Teacher - Salary and Contract Info
- £450 to £600 per week, pro rata to term time only
- Full-time, long-term contract from September 2026 to July 2027
- Term-time only
- Strong support and encouragement towards formal UK teacher training applications throughout the placement
