ASP.NET WebForms Software Developer (VB.NET/Azure) - Remote (UK)

We're looking for an experienced ASP.NET WebForms Software Developer to join our development team at Pillar Software Ltd.
This is a fully remote role where you'll play a key part in enhancing and maintaining our established ASP.NET WebForms applications while contributing to new development and cloud-based solutions. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, working independently and collaborating with an experienced team, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Lead the ongoing enhancement and development of our ASP.NET WebForms applications
- Design, develop, test and maintain high-quality software solutions
- Build and maintain APIs and integrations
- Develop and support Microsoft Azure cloud-based solutions
- Write test plans to ensure software quality
- Provide technical expertise and occasional second-line support for escalated Helpdesk issues
- Collaborate with colleagues across development, support and project teams
- Contribute ideas to improve products, processes and customer solutions

We're looking for candidates with 4+ years' commercial experience in:
- VB.NET
- ASP.NET WebForms
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Microsoft Azure cloud solutions
- API development and maintenance
- Software test planning
Desirable Skills
Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:
- AI technologies
- Angular
- Business Objects
- Crystal Reports
- Azure DevOps / DevOps practices
- Jira
- Cyber Essentials / Cyber Essentials+
- ISO 27001
- G-Cloud
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £38,500–£60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
