Assembler (Evergreen) - Permanent Role
Job Location
Woodchester, Glos.
Salary & Work Arrangements
- Salary: £25,500 - £32,500 (depending on shift premium and experience)
- Work Schedule:
- Day shift (Monday–Thursday): 7am – 3:30pm
- Friday: 7am – 12pm
- Alternating Double Days: 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm
About the Role
Renishaw is looking to recruit Assemblers for a permanent position. As part of a Production team, the successful candidate will assemble and inspect metrology products to high-quality standards while working to a defined production schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and inspect products in line with specified standards
- Follow all verbal and written instructions, highlighting any process deficiencies observed
- Operate efficiently and maintain a quality-conscious approach to meet production goals
- Input into production targets while maintaining product quality
- Report any potential issues affecting product quality to supervisors
- Strict adherence to Health and Safety regulations, including immediate reporting of concerns
Key Requirements
- High dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Good eyesight (spectacles/lenses permitted)
- Adaptability to improve processes and tackle challenges
- Ability to operate machinery, test equipment, and computerised systems as required
- Strong ability to read and interpret build instructions
- A "can-do" attitude with a strong work ethic
- Proven track record of good timekeeping and attendance
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate well
