Directly Responsible to: Production Manager
The Role
Produce finished roof lights to company schedules and drawings, while maintaining excellent housekeeping and following the company’s ISO (Apply online only) quality policy.
Responsibilities
- To operate machinery
- To assemble all variants of the Glazing Vision product range
Skills Required
- Must be able to use hand tools
- Excellent time management skills
- Be able to work on own initiative
- Able to work in a target driven environment
Overall Role Or Purpose Of The Job
- Operate production machinery to create parts and sub-assemblies for final assembly into roof lights (training provided)
- Ensure work area is tidy and organised
- Store products and components in such way as not to lead to damage, defects or a safety hazard
- Carry out any reasonable request given by Line Supervisor

Essential
- Good verbal and written English
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures/practice
Desirable
- Forklift licence (training provided if not and if required)
- Abrasive wheels
Hours of Work:
Full-time - 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours a day from 07:30 am to 3:30pm
Pay:
From minimum wage, dependent on skills & qualifications
Employee Benefits
- After a successful probation period, you will be included in our auto enrol pension scheme in which the Company pays 4%
- 20 days holiday with an extra day for every full year worked along with eight paid bank holidays
