Assembly Operative

📍 Location: Normanton
💷 Pay: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour

✔️ A positive attitude and willingness to learn
✔️ Good practical skills and attention to detail
✔️ Experience using hand and power tools is beneficial
✔️ Assembly or manufacturing experience is an advantage but not essential
✔️ Basic electrical or LED wiring knowledge is desirable
⏰ Hours:
Week 1: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 11:00am – 7:30pm, Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
Alternating weekly shifts
Are you an experienced Assembly Operative, or looking to build your career as an Assembly Operative? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy manufacturing team where your practical skills, attention to detail and positive attitude will be valued. As an Assembly Operative, you'll work on a variety of exciting projects, assembling high-quality products while developing your skills in a supportive environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Assemble products to a high standard using hand and power tools
- Read and follow technical drawings and work instructions
- Assist with basic LED wiring and electrical assembly
- Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Work closely with colleagues to meet production deadlines
⭐ Desirable Skills
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
- Basic electrical or LED wiring knowledge
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, flexible and a great team player
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
