Assembly Operatives

Kinetic Recruitment is supporting a global engineering company with the recruitment of Experienced Assembly Operatives. With over 70 years of industry expertise, our client is a world leader in engine-boosting turbo systems. Looking to expand their manufacturing team. Temporary opportunity with the potential for long-term work. Competitive pay of £12.71 per hour. Early finish every Friday - start your weekend sooner! Free onsite parking. Uniform provided.
Working Hours
- 37 hours per week
- Mon to Thurs: 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 1:00pm
Based in Handforth/Cheadle area
What you will be doing
- Assembling and disassembling turbochargers to high quality standards.
- Rotating across different production areas to broaden your skills and experience.
- Using hand tools and following technical drawings and work instructions.
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the assembly process.
- Recording production data accurately and working to production targets.
- Working safely and collaboratively as part of a supportive production team.
What we are looking for:
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is beneficial, but we'll also consider candidates with transferable production experience.
- Experience using hand tools such as drills and screwdrivers.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to work well within a team and meet production targets.
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.
- Strong awareness of health and safety.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
