Production Operator (Manufacturing/Production Team)

About the Role
TE Connectivity’s Manufacturing/Production Teams convert raw materials into finished goods, ensuring seamless component flow.
This hands-on role involves:
- Performing changeovers and setups aligned with production schedules.
- Conducting quality checks per established protocols, documenting results accurately.
- Upholding 5S principles and workplace organization.
- Adhering to TE Connectivity’s EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety) policies.

Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Maintain safe working practices in line with company standards.
- Verify and select materials as per company documentation.
- Deliver materials to operational areas on time.
- Operate machinery to prepare and assemble products.
- File and process paperwork (both locally and system-based).
Additional Responsibilities
- Alert the supervisor or purchasing department to material shortages.
- Monitor and adjust production plans to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Attend daily team meetings for plan reviews and workload updates.
- Communicate operational statuses to relevant departments.
- Demonstrates flexibility to support other process departments as needed.

Requirements
Key Background & Skills
- Experience with manual handling.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong organisational and methodical work approach.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding production drawings.
