Assessment and Curriculum Office

The Assessment and Curriculum Office is responsible for the management of assessment and student progression, as well as ensuring processes are accurate and efficient. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic individual to join our team. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in providing vital operational support to ensure smooth assessment and examination operations, research degree assessments, and governance functions.

The Assessment and Curriculum Office is responsible for the management of assessment and student progression, as well as ensuring processes are accurate and efficient. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic individual to join our team. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in providing vital operational support to ensure smooth assessment and examination operations, research degree assessments, and governance functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting all assessment and examination operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintaining and updating student records related to assessment, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinating with staff, students and external bodies to ensure timely delivery of assessment outcomes.
  • Contributing to governance functions, including policy interpretation and application.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Confident use of IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office, student records systems).

Qualifications

The applicant must have a University undergraduate degree or equivalent, or an ability to demonstrate transferable skills - such as analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving and self-management skills - at an appropriate level.
