Job Opportunity: Technical Support Specialist

Are you someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting others, and working with technology in a fast-paced environment? If so, this could be the next step in your career.

You’ll be joining our Transformative Business Services team, supporting the delivery of online assessment solutions for high-profile clients. Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring assessments run smoothly by providing technical and operational support to both candidates and assessors.

This is a great opportunity to build your career within a growing area of the business, with clear progression opportunities both within the team and across the wider organisation. Many people have successfully developed from this role into other opportunities, and we’re committed to helping you grow your skills and experience.

This role is hybrid. You’ll primarily work remotely, with occasional office attendance – typically once per month in Newport or another centre of excellence. Working hours are on a rota between 07:30 and 21:00, offering variety and flexibility.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide first-line technical and operational support for online assessment delivery.
  • Support candidates and assessors by troubleshooting technical and access-related issues.
  • Monitor live assessment sessions to ensure they run smoothly and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Escalate more complex issues where required to maintain a seamless service.
  • Carry out basic system administration activities and maintain accurate operational data.
  • Work as part of a team to support efficient and successful assessment delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
