Asset Data Officer – 18 Months FTC
The Royal Borough of Greenwich Repairs and Investment Section is looking for a strong and highly motivated Asset Data Officer with excellent knowledge and passion for strategic asset management and energy efficiency of housing stock.
In This Exciting New Role, You Will
- Provide analysis of underlying cost drivers to support assessments of portfolio performance and reviews of underperforming asset.
- Assist in developing a five-year housing investment plan aligned with appropriate data which reflect the needs of the stock and the strategic objectives of the Council
- Build relationships and partnership ways of working internally and externally in the planning and delivery of strategic asset management services.
- Carry out annual financial performance review of all tenanted housing stock using Asset Performance Evaluation Module and develop action plan to improve value of asset.
- Ensure stock condition information is maintained for all assets and links into responsive, compliance, cyclical, and programmed maintenance records to identify current condition and future requirements.
What You’ll Need
- Have extensive experience of managing, processing, analysing and reporting on asset performance data.
- Have experience of working within an Asset Management function and an understanding of the various factors that can affect the performance of housing stock and the sustainability of a neighbourhood.
- Liaise with colleagues in R&I section, other Housing and Council departments to ensure effective planning and delivery of capital works Programmes
- Have experience of validating and cleansing large complex data sets, liaising with stakeholders to understand and verify data.
- Have experience of analysing quantitative and qualitative data from a variety of sources to provide insights and make appropriate recommendations.
- Ability to build effective, positive relationships with stakeholders (internal and external) including Members and be an active member of different teams.
