Who We Are

Join our dynamic Electrification & Plant (E&P) Asset Strategy Management Team in the Southern Region as an Asset Engineer for Renewals and Enhancements. We're on the lookout for enthusiastic, driven engineers to contribute their expertise to our mainline railway infrastructure projects. Located in our London Puddle Dock offices at Blackfriars, you'll collaborate with a dedicated group of discipline-specific Engineers and Managers, supporting the evolving Integrated Business Units and helping to shape the future organisation as we transition towards Great British Railways.

Your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a team environment will ensure the success of each project, meeting the needs of passengers and stakeholders.

At Network Rail, we champion diversity and equal opportunities, fostering a workplace that values creativity, innovation, and respect. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can reach their full potential.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
