About Y TREE

We are a rapidly growing WealthTech business that is re-defining how individuals and families connect and engage with their money. We provide our clients with control over their personal finances, enhancing their ability to achieve their financial and life aspirations.

We are harnessing sophisticated portfolio analytics, innovative behavioural psychology and cutting-edge UX/UI to create a revolutionary experience and transformational outcomes for our users. The business was founded in 2017 by three successful entrepreneurs and business-builders with diverse experiences and skill-sets in Technology, Corporate Advice and Investment Management and is backed by some of Europe’s leading investors.

Team Overview

The Asset & Liability Model Development Lead is responsible for the technical development, feature refinement, and structural precision of Y TREE’s core financial life projection engine. To achieve this, they will focus on designing advanced financial logic, executing software engineering frameworks, and translating frontline business needs into model capabilities.

Their focus is on translating intricate wealth planning architecture into codebase specifications, maintaining a structured asset liability modelling (ALM) release pipeline, and managing functional requirements directly with client-facing teams. They will work collaboratively with the Client, Product, and core Development teams to ensure the evolution of our proprietary engines is directly aligned with real-world client modelling demands and systemic platform enhancements.

The Role

Strategic Financial Modelling:

  • Lead the design, development, and integration of sophisticated financial models into Y TREE's digital advice platform and product experiences.
  • Translate complex financial concepts into intuitive and actionable models that can be easily consumed by both clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure models are robust, scalable, and adaptable to evolving market conditions and client needs, particularly for UHNW complexities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
