IT Asset & Logistics Co-Ordinator (SC Cleared) - Contract - Wiltshire - £competitive
Synergize Consulting are now hiring for an IT Asset & Logistics Co-Ordinator to work onsite at a leading defence client of ours on a contract basis.
This is a varied role covering many key areas of support to a large deployment project and involves both manual support duties, and supporting both hardware and software systems, ensuring equipment is configured correctly, and performing testing before deployment to users or client environments.
You will play a key role in maintaining hardware infrastructure and ensuring systems are ready for operational use.

Responsibilities include:
- Manage site assets and book hardware in and out of the main site
- Arrange for the disposal of Legacy Hardware when required.
- Co-ordinate with other client sites to collect and return equipment/infrastructure back to original location
- Update assets on the CMDB as items are securely disposed and as other assets such as network devices are switched between location.
Experience required:
- A background in supporting secure systems and sites, as well as working with physical hardware and the management of site assets
- Knowledge relating to hardware, networks and the testing of infrastructure prior to release
- Previous experience of using CMDB repositories to track and manage assets and equipment
- Knowledge of software licences and the ability to manage communications between multiple sites
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to engage with stakeholders and site contacts
