Asset Management- AI, Alternatives Product Management - Vice President - London

Job Description

Asset & Wealth Management

Goldman Sachs Asset Management is one of the world’s leading asset managers with over $2 trillion in assets under supervision. As a primary investment area within Goldman Sachs, we provide investment and advisory services for pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, financial advisors, and individuals.

The Strategic Transformation Office (STO) oversees comprehensive, large-scale transformations. Our objectives are to enhance scalability, drive revenue growth, improve client experience, and elevate controls to optimize our operating platform. The group comprises three critical functions: (1) Product Management, (2) Design, and (3) Change Management.

Alternatives Product Management sits within the STO and partners closely with investing businesses and Engineering teams to define and deliver our digital strategy.

We are evolving our operating model to embed AI-focused Product Managers directly within investing teams to deliver transformation at the workflow level.

Our Model Combines

  • Platform stability (core system lifecycle)
  • Capability development (horizontal AI and data capabilities)
  • Direct delivery through embedded AI Product Managers

We are seeking a Product Manager to be embedded within our Private Credit investing team, responsible for identifying, prototyping, and delivering AI-enabled solutions across core investment workflows.

This role is focused on direct delivery of AI capabilities that improve how investment teams originate, underwrite, monitor, and report on investments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
