Asset Management Paralegal

12m Fixed-Term Contract
Salary Up To £50,000pa + Overtime + Benefits

Our client, an elite US law firm, is looking for an experienced and professional Paralegal to join them on an initial 12m FTC in their London office - working as their new Asset Management Paralegal.

You'll be part of an experienced and growing team in London - working closely with Qualified Associates on various Asset Management related matters.

Responsibilities

As the successful Paralegal, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Drafting fund related documents
  • Preparing closing bibles
  • Reviewing subscription agreements (for fund investments)
  • Requesting and reviewing searches
  • Liaising with Attorneys, Senior Stakeholders and clients directly on a regular basis
  • Conducting extensive company, market and legal research
  • Proofreading documents
  • Managing the daily flow of files and documents for clients

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:

  • Have prior/existing experience either an Asset Management Paralegal OR Funds Paralegal (essential)
  • Have a completed law degree (GDL, LLB - 2:1 minimum) (essential)
  • Have a minimum of AAB at A-Level (essential - client specified)
  • Be able to commute to the London office 4-days per week
