What you’ll do (the role)
Summary
As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimising the operational and financial performance of our solar energy assets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure that assets meet strategic goals, maintain compliance, and maximise value over the asset lifecycle.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage solar sites across the UK, maximising total return through performance analysis and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with EPC and O&M contractors to ensure safe and efficient asset operation.
- Build strong team relationships and maintain effective communication with client-owners and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyse asset performance to identify improvement opportunities and manage risks.
- Review and manage all SPV contracts, ensuring compliance with obligations including insurance and HSE.
- Develop and maintain compliance calendars to monitor contractual and operational compliance across all contracts and activities.
- Support financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Facilitate transition from project to operational management and manage documentation.
- Assist Energy Sales team with FIT/ROC, market electricity revenue collection and regulatory compliance audits.
- Assist Portfolio Manager in preparation of reports to stakeholders on commercial, financial, and technical performance.

Who we’re looking for
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of UK and European renewable energy asset management, including technical, financial, and contractual aspects.
- Familiarity with project management principles, budgeting, and data analytics.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in operational environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance or related field.
- Professional certifications in asset management or project management are a bonus.
Experience
- Proven experience in managing renewable energy or infrastructure assets.
- Experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders.
