80 Victoria Street; on site across the UK when required
THE ROLE
To asset manage one or more assets within one of our retail portfolio clusters (i.e. Shopping Centres, Outlets or Leisure parks). Effectively collaborate with key stakeholders internally and externally to shape plans that deliver on the needs of Guests and Brand Partners whilst also driving sustained income and investment value performance. Our aspirations are to optimise the value of our retail and leisure ownerships by creating a compelling and engaging offer for both Guests and Brand Partners through the necessary level of investment, active asset management and the co-ordination of different functions within Landsec. The success of this role is contingent on this collaboration.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
To manage the planning and P&L performance for an asset or a group of assets; including assessing performance potential in the short, medium and long term, identifying key risks and opportunities and recommending future asset and occupational strategies. You will be required to coordinate and work collaboratively with a number of other functions, including leasing, operations, consumer and development. As well as driving sustainable long-term income growth across the asset(s), you will also have several other key accountabilities, including:
- To develop asset business plans, based on data and insight, that will maximise long term financial performance.
- Support the Asset Director to secure business plan approval from both senior internal and external stakeholders.
- In depth involvement in projects such as master planning and redevelopment, ensuring that both commercial rigour and guest experience enhancement are applied to decision-making.
- Work with the Leasing and Legal teams to deliver timely leasing activity that aligns with the asset strategy and maximises financial performance, in line with company governance frameworks.
- Work with the Operations and Consumer teams to support excellent guest experience execution.
- Ensure that relevant systems, processes and records are up to date and accurate.
- Working collaboratively with finance teams to produce accurate and insightful business plans, budgets, performance data and other relevant financial information.
- Deliver asset P&L’s that target sustainable income growth whilst incorporating relevant and compelling brand and guest propositions.
- To provide the necessary direction to colleagues and external consultants to ensure that the strategic plan is delivered. This requires effective translation into the relevant actions and activities required to maximise the performance of the asset, reflecting the market and delivering maximum value to shareholders.
- Responsibility for providing up to date and accurate information to external valuers and analysis of outputs.

Application Process
Stage 1: Review CV's
Once you have applied your application will be assessed against the required skills, experience and qualifications. Commonly you will be informed whether you move onto the interview process via a telephone call or email message within 2 weeks of your application being uploaded.
Stage 2: Interview
In most cases the interview process will take between 2-4 weeks with a single on-site interview that may be supported by telephone interviews. In more senior positions you may be asked to attend site and meet other members of the team for less formal interviews.
Stage 3: Offer and Contract
If you are successful a verbal offer will be made and your start date discussed before a contract and offer is sent out to you via the candidate account you applied through. You will be able to review and sign this online. You will be fully supported by Landsec's recruitment team during this process.
Stage 4: Onboarding
Once you have signed your contract you will be able to onboard through our HR system providing us with all the details and completing your benefit selection, your pre-employment screening and any additional onboarding tasks you may have.
