Job Description

Are you an MRICS-qualified Asset Manager who wants to own your assets end-to-end rather than a slice of someone else’s portfolio? Do you thrive in a privately-owned business with the balance sheet to back its own deals?

Hop To Talent are supporting a privately-owned commercial property developer and investor operating across the South of England, recruiting an Asset Manager on a 16 month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave from September 2026.

The portfolio spans industrial and logistics, offices and urban mixed-use schemes. The business runs a core portfolio of income-producing assets alongside an active portfolio where capital is recycled through development and value-add projects.

This is a broad, hands-on seat. You’ll take a defined set of assets and run them properly - business plans, lettings, landlord and tenant matters, refurbishments, and the day-to-day property management underneath it all.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
