Asset Manager – Healthcare & PFI (Permanent Position)
Location: Southmead Hospital
At our organisation, we manage over 100 projects across the UK. We’re currently reviewing a project at Southmead Hospital, where a crucial role has been identified:
About the Role
You will bridge the hospital management board and the facilities service provider, ensuring smooth performance, compliance, and reporting under the Project Agreement.
This position requires an experienced asset manager with deep expertise in healthcare and PFI environments, deliberately placed on a permanent basis to support our established team.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract & Contractor Management
- Oversee communication with the contracting board and provider
- Regular performance & compliance reporting

Technical Leadership
- HTM (Health Technical Memorandum) & HSAW (Health and Safety at Work Act) compliance
- Technical asset management (with heavy focus on record-keeping)

Asset Management Lead
- Operate under the terms of the Project Agreement with core accountability
Who You Are
- Healthcare/Public Sector Expertise: Deep knowledge of FM (Facilities Management) services
- Regulatory Compliance: Proficiency in HTM, HSAW, statutory guidelines, and risk management
- Contractual Awareness: Expertise in detailed contracts, regulations, and guidance documents
- Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to act as a confident representative across all relevant parties—managerial, operational, and public-facing in a hospital environment
- Problem-Solving: Track record of achieving service delivery goals
- Communication: Sharp presenter and dynamic communicator, balanced and clear
