Associate Asset Manager (Team Lead) - Oxford
Lead a High-Performing Team and Make a Real Impact
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Associate Asset Manager (Team Lead) to join our Property and Asset Management team based in Oxford.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a varied portfolio while leading a team of Asset Managers responsible for delivering exceptional service to a range of national infrastructure clients. You'll play a key role in driving performance, managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring vacant properties are brought back into a lettable condition efficiently and effectively.

What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee both operational delivery and team performance, ensuring assets are managed effectively and client expectations are consistently exceeded.
- Lead and manage a team of Asset Managers responsible for residential property portfolios.
- Ensure delivery against client KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Manage the onboarding and acquisition of new assets into the portfolio.
- Conduct site visits as required, including property inspections, contractor meetings, meter readings and basic compliance checks.
- Oversee the management of vacant residential assets and coordinate works required to bring properties into a lettable condition.
- Organise improvement, repair and maintenance works, liaising with contractors and monitoring progress through to completion.
- Ensure all properties are inspected quarterly and inspection records are maintained accurately.
- Work closely with Facilities Management teams to ensure all statutory compliance requirements are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong understanding of relevant property legislation and industry best practice.
- Support and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.

What Will It Take To Be Successful?
Essential
- Wealth of experience within Property Management, Lettings or a related sector.
- Proven experience and enjoyment from managing people and leading teams.
- Strong knowledge of residential property management and asset management practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- MRICS, MARLA or other relevant professional qualification.
- Experience managing portfolios on behalf of infrastructure or corporate clients.
- Knowledge of industry best practice and performance management within property teams.
