Salary: £59,901 per annum
Location: Fully agile / home-based with occasional travel to Leyland
Hours: 36.25 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

We’re now looking for an ambitious Asset Strategy Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our property portfolio, investment strategy, and data capability.

About The Role
As our Asset Strategy Manager, you’ll report to the Head of Strategic Asset Management and act as a key strategic lead across the organisation.
You’ll drive the development and governance of asset data, ensuring robust, reliable insight underpins long-term investment planning, compliance, and decision-making.
This is a high-impact role where you won’t just manage strategy, you’ll actively shape the future capability of both the team and the systems that support it.
Key Highlights Of The Role Include
- Leading strategic asset appraisal, including NPV modelling and analysis of c.10,000 properties
- Overseeing planned and cyclical investment programmes aligned to our long-term business plan
- Supporting the growth of the asset team, including the opportunity to recruit and shape new officer roles as we expand capability
- Playing a key role in the procurement and implementation of a new asset management database, helping define requirements and embed a modern, data-driven approach
- Providing expert insight and challenge to senior leaders on asset performance, investment priorities, and risk
- Driving continuous improvement in asset data, systems, and reporting

Essential
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in asset management/property services specific to Social Housing
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insight
- Experience of asset appraisal, investment planning, and performance analysis
- Knowledge of housing regulations (e.g. Decent Homes Standard, HHSRS, energy efficiency requirements)
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision making
- Experience leading or developing teams in a high performance, data-driven environment
Desirable
- Degree in housing, construction, surveying or a related field
- Professional or management qualification (or working towards)
- Experience implementing or working with asset management systems or digital transformation programmes

There will be occasional office visits to Leyland, but these are planned well in advance, giving you the flexibility to balance your work and personal commitments with confidence.
