Asset Surveyor
Located in: Cherwell, Banbury Salary: £46,097 - £48,524 per year plus company car or car allowance Hours: 40 per week
We are seeking an Asset Surveyor to join our team based in Cherwell, Banbury. The role falls within our Property Services department, responsible for delivering high-quality and cost-effective property repairs, compliance, installation, and estate services across the UK.
As an Asset Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering quality surveying and capital investment services that meet customer, organisational, and financial needs while complying with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Undertake stock condition surveys and other property inspections, including health and safety assessments across diverse stock portfolios
- Manage disrepair cases, complaints, permission requests, and repairs monitoring
- Produce technical reports and documentation for work specifications and tenders
- Support the cyclical programme, including surveys, resident consultations, and stakeholder liaison
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives to support organisational objectives

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified to AssocRIC, MRICS, CIOB, or hold a Degree, HND, or HNC in Surveying.
- Proof of original qualification must be provided during interviews (copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted).
- Some experience in building and surveying environments.
- Proven ability to work to deadlines, prioritise workloads, and manage complex tasks.
Key Competencies
- Strong knowledge of building legislation and industry practices.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to interpret digital records and technical data.
- Valid UK driving licence (company vehicle use as part of the role).
