Join a multi-year modernization program that strengthens how core banking data is defined, governed, and consumed across the enterprise. You will help ensure high-quality, well-governed data is available to run the business and meet client and regulatory needs. You will work at the intersection of business, governance, and technology, with visibility across leadership and delivery teams. This is an opportunity to build durable data foundations, improve traceability, and help scale trusted data use.
As an Associate in the Asset and Wealth Management Chief Data Office, International Private Bank (IPB) Platform Modernization program, you will embed within program delivery squads to represent data governance and data architecture priorities. You will drive the definition, registration, and governance of data elements moving into and out of the core banking platform. You will enable end-to-end lineage, clear ownership, and complete metadata across cross-domain data flows aligned to firmwide standards. You will partner across business, technology, and control stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation of data standards and controls.
Job Responsibilities
- Represent data governance and data architecture priorities within program delivery squads
- Define, register, and govern data elements flowing into and out of the core banking platform
- Maintain a business glossary, data ownership, and data classification for in-scope domains
- Align and support ratification of definitions with Data Owners and Data Stewards
- Document end-to-end data lineage from source to transformation to consumption
- Partner with technology teams to embed lineage capture into solution design
- Support cross-domain lineage for regulatory and analytical use cases
- Clarify data ownership, derivation logic, and domain responsibilities across teams
- Prepare executive-ready materials for governance forums and leadership updates
- Ensure adherence to firmwide data standards, including data use, lineage, discovery, and controls
- Identify data risks, ownership gaps, and control weaknesses, and drive remediation actions

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Demonstrated understanding of data governance frameworks, including metadata, lineage, ownership, and controls
- Proficiency with data lineage mapping and metadata management approaches and tools
- Knowledge of core banking or private banking data sets, such as party, account, and transaction data
- Ability to translate business processes into data flows and logical data models
- Understanding of data architecture patterns and system integration flows
- Strong stakeholder management across business, technology, and control functions
- Ability to synthesize complex topics into clear, executive-level communication
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Collaborative working style with ownership and accountability
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Familiarity with OpenLineage standards or similar lineage standards
- Experience supporting cross-domain data flows and governance across multiple domains
- Experience preparing content for senior governance forums and leadership audiences
About the team: The Asset and Wealth Management Chief Data Office defines and drives the data strategy, governance, and execution to ensure high-quality, well-governed data supports business, client, and regulatory needs. The International Private Bank data office is central to the platform modernization program, focused on modernizing the core banking platform and establishing robust data foundations for scalable, governed data consumption across the enterprise.
