Assistant Role at UK Property Direct – Poole

About the Role

The Assistant position at UK Property Direct is a full-time, on-site role based in Poole. As part of the UK’s leading online property portal, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations, ensuring smooth administrative processes, and delivering high-class customer service. This position is ideal for individuals with strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills, with a keen interest in the property or real estate sector.

UK Property Direct is a trusted platform for residential, commercial, rural, and overseas property listings, connecting buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, private owners, and estate agents. With millions of visits monthly, the company empowers Property users to transact more efficiently while saving on agency fees. The Assistant role will contribute to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, where attention to detail and a proactive mindset are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support & Communications
    • Respond to customer inquiries professionally via phone, email, and online channels
    • Liaise with private owners, estate agents, and internal teams for timely follow-ups
    • Ensure clear and accurate communication regarding property listings and transactions

  • Property Listings & Administrative Tasks

    • Update and maintain property listings on the portal
    • Manage internal records with precision
    • Assist with data entry and document management
  • Reporting & Coordination

    • Prepare basic reports on property activity
    • Organise and retrieve documentation for internal and external stakeholders
    • Support marketing and administrative activities related to listings and portal content
  • Office & Team Collaboration

    • Contribute to an efficient workflow through reliable and proactive participation
    • Assist with ** Zelandablas office tasks**, including records management and system maintenance
  • Continuous Improvement & Learning

    • Support office operations by ensuring administrative processes remain streamlined

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, including:
    • Data entry accuracy
    • Document management confidence
    • Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities, capable of engaging clearly with:
    • Customers via phone, email, and live chat
    • Internal and external stakeholders (including estate agents and property owners)
  • Proficiency in basic digital tools, such as:
    • Email platforms
    • Spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel)
    • Office document management
