About the Role
As an Assistant Account Executive (AAE), you’ll gain direct, hands-on experience across B2B public relations, corporate communications, and creative advisory disciplines. This is a fast-paced, apprenticeship-style role focused on shaping communications that redefine industries.
You’ll work full-time on one of Edelman’s largest technology accounts, helping pioneer high-impact narratives—especially in navigating the transformative intersection of AI and the future of work and business.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Account Support
- Deliver exceptional client service by curating materials for meetings, calls, and presentations, including:
- Research reports
- Timelines and trackers
- Logistics coordination
- On-brand collaterals (decks, briefings, client briefs)
- Master the "brilliant basics": apply meticulous accuracy in research, writing, editing, and proofreading.
- Execute flawlessly by:
- Adhering to briefs and deadlines
- Updating action trackers
- Ensuring on-time delivery of all client deliverables
- Support stakeholder engagement programs, including:
- Outreach coordination
- Logistical planning
- Follow-up communications
Research, Media & Insights
- Monitor and analyze:
- Media coverage (traditional + digital)
- Policy shifts and strategic announcements
- Competitor activity in real time
- Conduct actionable research to inform:
- Client briefings
- Stakeholder maps
- Policy and market analyses
- Deep-dive into clients’ industries to guide decision-making based on:
- Key publications
- Policy landscapes
- Informed intelligence
- Pull research and insights to deliver clear, contextual insights for assignments.

Content Development & Creative Support
- Draft, edit, and finalise content assets such as:
- Press releases
- Executive briefings
- TALKING POINTS
- Meeting summaries
- Develop biographical backgrounders and whitepapers to support client storytelling and advocacy.
- Research → Outline → Draft → Edit → Proof → Finalise all client communications under deadline.
- Assist with events coordination (parliamentary panels, product launches, media activations) by:
- Supporting logistics
- Contributing event content
- Gain a foundational understanding of digital and social channels to enhance traditional communications strategies.
Integrated Collaboration
- Engage cross-functionally with teams in:
- Creative storytelling
- Data analytics
- Digital marketing
- Paid media
- Creator marketing
- Strategy and reputation management
- Develop expertise in policy advisory, corporate reputation, and integrated campaign execution.
- Enhance client-centric thinking by understanding:
- Their business objectives
- External landscapes (media, stakeholders, policy environments).
- Trends that impact their strategy.
Professional Growth
- Actively participate in Edelman’s training programs, including:
- Mentorship opportunities

Basic Qualifications
