We are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join our busy accountancy team supporting the People directorate. You will work closely with colleagues in Accountancy, Adult Social Care and Commissioning to produce accurate and timely information to support the financial reporting in relation to Adult Social Care.
The role
The Successful Candidate Will Be Required To
undertake financial reconciliations of large sets of data. carry out transactional processing. contribute to improvements with our internal processes and procedures which we are constantly reviewing.
The ideal candidate would have the following skills and attributes:
5 GSCE grade (level 4) or above including Maths & English Computer literacy, with in particular a good level of competency with Microsoft Excel. Ability to manage high volumes of data while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Ability to work well as part of a team in order to meet strict deadlines. Have excellent communication skills.
