Assistant Accountant

Warrington (Hybrid)

Up to £35,000

Are you looking for the next step in your finance career?

We're working with a hugely successful and growing business based in the heart of Birchwood that's looking to add an Assistant Accountant to its established finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive environment where you'll gain exposure to both the accounting and commercial sides of the business, giving you a varied role with plenty of scope to develop.

This isn't a role where you'll be stuck processing invoices all day. You'll be working closely with colleagues across finance and operations, helping to manage project finances, support month-end activities and provide the financial information that helps the business make informed decisions.

If you're naturally curious, enjoy getting into the detail and want a role where you can learn, develop and take on more responsibility over time, we'd love to hear from you.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
