Page 1 Recruitment is partnering with a visionary tech company reshaping the future of Africa's transport and energy sector. As they continue to grow, they're looking for an enthusiastic part-qualified Assistant Accountant to join their Sheffield-based finance team. You'll play a hands-on role in the company's day-to-day finances while continuing your studies with full support and mentorship from experienced finance professionals.

What you'll be doing
- Processing and managing accounts payable and receivable to keep operations running smoothly
- Supporting monthly and quarterly close, including accruals and journals
- Helping prepare quarterly financial reports and insights for stakeholders
- Managing employee expenses and prepayment cards accurately and on time
- Keeping the ERP system up to date and maintaining data integrity
- Getting involved in a variety of finance tasks to support the wider team
What we're looking for
- Part-qualified or actively studying towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA (study support provided)
- Solid double entry bookkeeping and a sound grasp of core accounting principles
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail
- Well organised, able to juggle multiple priorities to deadline
- Proactive, eager to learn, and keen to grow within an ambitious team
