What you’ll be doing
The Assistant Accountant will play a key role in keeping the Easyspace Business Unit running smoothly, overseeing the day-to-day financial operations that ensure accuracy, customer satisfaction, and efficient financial management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing transactions, billing, and cash revenue reporting
- Supporting Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Maintaining accurate balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Ensuring timely commission payments
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve account-related queries
- Producing financial reports and financial statements
- Managing finance support tickets and day-to-day queries
Role Overview
- Carry out daily and month-end bank reconciliations
- Process bank uploads, payments, and customer billing
- Handle billing queries and internal escalations
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Calculate and process commission payments on time
- Support Accounts Payable (AP) (supplier invoices, cash allocation) and Accounts Receivable (AR) (collections)
- Conduct revenue reviews and aged debt monitoring
- Provide daily revenue reports and month-end supporting schedules
- Manage finance support tickets and shared inbox queries
- Conduct referral partner analysis and process payments
- Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects and process improvements

Requirements
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using accounting and billing systems (a plus)
