Assistant Accountant

Description
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and supplier statements.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Process and monitor invoices, expense claims, and payments.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date accounting files and documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Assist with ad-hoc accountancy tasks as required by the accounting team.

Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant will have experience in the above and be on short notice.
Job Offer
- An hourly pay rate between £18.00 and £22.00, paid in GBP.
- A temporary role providing valuable experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
