The Role
Grainger Motor Group is expanding and needs a motivated, detail-oriented Group Accounts Assistant to join their Accounts Team in Bury St Edmunds.

Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Preparing and posting daily cash sheets
- Processing purchase invoices and self-billing invoices (SBIs)
- Raising ad hoc sales invoices
- Maintaining vehicle debtor ledgers
- Reconciling manufacturer bonus accounts
- Completing supplier statement reconciliations
- Posting bank receipts and payments
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Setting up and processing bank payments
- Confirming customer receipts
- Assisting with monthly management accounts
- Responding to internal & external accounts queries
- Providing cover & support for the accounts team
- Filing & maintaining records
- General office administration
- Undertaking ad hoc tasks as needed

Requirements
Ideal Candidate:
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational & administrative skills
- Good communication & interpersonal abilities
- Adaptable—work well independently & collaboratively
- Positive, proactive approach to work
- Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel, preferred but not essential)
