About SWGR
SWGR are seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in our Glasgow Office. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop essential accounting skills within a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Support in completion of balance sheet reconciliations for multiple group companies, assisting in resolution of reconciling items
- Support in completion of fixed asset register review for multiple group companies, ensuring accurate fixed asset register
- Support in completion of bank posting and bank reconciliations for multiple group companies
- Assist with financial data validation project for multiple group companies
- Assist with establishing, developing and delivering Financial KPI Reporting for key stakeholders
- Assist with documenting group finance, controls, processes and procedures
- Support purchase and sales ledger functions
- Support payroll processing (weekly and 4 weekly)

Additional Requirements
- A proactive, results-drive and well organised finance professional who is able to manage a busy workload in a fast-paced environment
- Solid experience in the use of financial ERP systems
- Excellent computer literacy skills including MS Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail with a can-do attitude
- Comfortable in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Team player
