About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised, experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. Working closely with the finance and operational teams, you will play a key role in month-end processes, maintaining financial trackers, and monitoring budgets.
Key Details
- Type: Permanent position
- Working Hours: 4 days (28 hours) per week
- Location: Based at least 2 days per week from our Head Office in Notting Hill, with the other two days worked from home.
Requirements
To be invited to interview, you must be part-qualified or qualified by experience - ideally within a retail or e-commerce environment - and you must be able to demonstrate the relevant skills to perform what is demanded of the role.

Skills and Knowledge
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to apply them in practice.
- Solid understanding of accounting systems and fundamentals such as double-entry, accruals, prepayments, financial statements, posting journals, etc.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, etc).
- Any experience with accounting systems such as Xero will be a distinct advantage.

- Excellent communication skills, comfortable communicating across all levels of the business
