What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be a key part of our finance team, working closely with the Finance & Admin Director, helping keep our numbers accurate, our controls strong and our managers informed. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts, including preparing and posting journals (accruals, prepayments, etc.).
- Maintaining the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, and calculating & posting depreciation.
- Reconciling all balance sheet control accounts each month.
- Reviewing and analysing monthly VAT postings ready for submission via the Group VAT return.
- Supporting the management team with financial analysis and insight.
- Contributing to budgeting and forecasting with clear, useful financial analysis.
- Assisting with the year-end audit process.
- Helping maintain robust stock control processes.
- Providing cover for the Finance Administrator during leave.
- Working closely with Customer Services and Warehouse Fulfilment in our Hawarden unit.
- Supporting continuous improvement in ZOHO and other finance-related systems and processes.

We’re Ideally Looking For Someone Who Is
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience, with 3+ years’ solid, recognisable experience in industry (manufacturing, distribution, or similar).
- Confident with journals, reconciliations and management accounts.
- Used to real-world accounting, not just academic or purely theoretical university experience.
- Accurate and detail-focused, but able to understand the bigger commercial picture.
- Comfortable working with different teams and building good relationships across the business.
- Proactive and curious – keen to improve processes, not just follow them.
- Looking for a role where they can grow, develop and progress as the company continues to expand.
- An effective and confident communicator

Salary
Part Time (22.5hrs)
£21,000.00-£22,800.00 per year
