Junior Acoustic Consultant: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Our client is looking for a talented Junior Acoustic Consultant to join their growing team in Huddersfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around two years consultancy experience looking to develop their career within a highly respected specialist acoustic consultancy.

About You

  • Around two years experience within an acoustic consultancy.
  • A degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with sound insulation testing, noise surveys, and technical report writing.
  • Familiarity with acoustic modelling software.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What to Expect

  • Carry out sound insulation testing and environmental noise surveys.
  • Produce technical reports and practical acoustic advice for clients.
  • Undertake acoustic modelling to support planning and design.
  • Work alongside senior consultants on projects from inception through to completion.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary design teams.
