About …At Sloane The blend of discipline and desire, exclusivity and electricity. ...At Sloane is the London chapter of the Costes story. Hidden in the heart of Chelsea, the bar is its heartbeat — intimate, glamorous, and alive. Here, service is precise but never stiff; every detail matters — from the way a glass is placed to the tone of a greeting. It’s also a place where crowd curation is an art. The bar draws an eclectic mix — long-time Chelsea regulars, artists, musicians, and cultural icons — while DJs create a soundtrack that feels spontaneous yet perfectly orchestrated. ...At Sloane is an old-school bar for a modern generation — a place where you look at people, not your phone. A space of energy, elegance, and unexpected connection. It’s not just about cocktails; it’s about chemistry. We’re looking for an Assistant Bar Manager with both style and structure — someone who understands that true elegance lies in the choreography of discipline, emotion, and personality. You’ll support the Bar Manager in leading a team trained to perfection yet alive with individuality — a team that delivers consistency with soul.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
