Assistant Branch Manager
Assistant Branch Manager – GSF Car Parts
Our Assistant Branch Managers play a vital role in driving branch performance, supporting the Branch Manager, and fostering strong team dynamics to boost sales, customer satisfaction, and productivity.
About the Role
The Assistant Branch Manager will:
- Work closely with the Sales Advisor team to achieve monthly sales targets and improve branch performance.
- Lead initiatives to enhance customer relationships and reinforce GSF Car Parts’ reputation as the best supplier, employer, and partner in the automotive industry.
- Ensure sales, margin, and profit objectives are met through effective staffing and team management.
Main Duties & Responsibilities

Daily Operational Oversight
- Monitor daily sales, margin, and profit performance, ensuring the team is staffed to meet budget targets.
- Manage sales advisors’ Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and track performance against goals.

Team Leadership & Communication
- Conduct daily team briefings, update on performance metrics, and provide constructive feedback on service standards.
- Recognise and reward excellence while addressing disruptive behaviours to promote a positive, goal-driven culture.
- Foster confidence in the team to achieve branch goals through clear, engaging communication.

Customer Service & Resolution
- Ensure the team delivers exceptional customer service and meets service requirements.
- Drive a solution-based mentality when customer needs aren’t fully met.

- Sales & Target Achievement
- Act proactively alongside the Branch Manager to promote company initiatives and achieve sales targets.
Working Hours
- Average of 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday shifts as required.
About You
We’re looking for an Assistant Branch Manager with:
- Experience in sales-driven environments, preferably with a track record of hitting targets.
- A passion for excellent customer service and team leadership.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and motivation.
- Ideal candidates will have:
- Exposure to Profit & Loss (P&L) management or commercial leadership.
- Familiarity with MAM (Mobility & Maintenance Management) or Allicat systems.
- Automotive industry knowledge (highly desirable, but not mandatory).
