Assistant Branch Manager
The Assistant Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the Ealing branch, supporting the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include:
- Supervising and coaching the branch team
- Supporting sales activities
- Ensuring excellent customer service at the counter, in the yard, and over the phone
- Helping to manage stock levels
- Coordinating deliveries and collections
- Maintaining safe, clean, and compliant branch facilities

Requirements
- Experience in people leadership or supervision, including coaching, team motivation, and performance support.
- Customer service and relationship-building skills, ideally gained in a trade, retail, or builders’ merchant environment.
- Operational skills such as stock control, basic administration, and adherence to health and safety procedures.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to support sales activity, identify customer needs, and contribute to branch profitability.

Advantageous Experience:
- Experience in building materials or construction-related products
- Full UK driving license
- Prior branch or trade counter experience
