What’s it like to be an Assistant Branch Manager Designate?

As an Assistant Branch Manager Designate, you will enjoy a dynamic role that offers exposure across our Bristol, North Somerset, Cirencester, and Chepstow region. Rather than being based at a single location, you will deploy your expertise across various branches within the patch where required, supporting day-to-day operations and leading local teams to achieve excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Results: You'll bring a strong sales presence to drive daily activity, maximise profitability, and smash targets across the region's branches.
  • Build Relationships: As part of the regional management support network, you’ll drive high standards and foster fantastic customer relationships at every location you support.
  • Lead with Confidence: You’ll be a confident people leader, capable of motivating, adaptable to different team dynamics, and passionate about coaching colleagues to achieve their full potential.
  • Manage Operations: You’ll ensure branch operations run smoothly and efficiently, including managing a fleet of vehicles, tool hire departments, and integrated Benchmarx showrooms.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
