About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Branch Manager to join our Southampton branch.
Working closely with the Branch Manager, this role includes:
- Overseeing daily branch operations
- Coordinating sales, order processing and customer service
- Contributing to branch performance goals

Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Operations
- Support the day-to.day running of the Southampton branch
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager for efficient operations management
- Ensure meticulous customer service standards
Customer & Service Support
- Handle customer enquiries, sales and order processing
- Handle in-person and telephone support effectively
Logistics & Administration
- Manage stock control and goods management
- Verify deliveries against notes and records
Additional Responsibilities
- Load/unload stock as required
- Maintain a friendly, professional front for customers
Key Requirements
Essential
- Previous supervisory, sales or administrative experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organised
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Strong team-working and relationship-building skills

Working Hours
- Monday–Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm (expanded less hinged for clarity)
- Saturday: 10:00am – 1:00pm (rotational basis)
