Assistant Branch Manager

About the Role

As an Assistant Branch Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading and supporting your team to ensure excellence in customer service, sales performance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily sales activities to drive profitability and achieve targets.
  • Maintain and enhance customer relationships, delivering exceptional service at every interaction.
  • Motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve their best potential.
  • Oversee branch operations, including vehicle fleets, tool hire, and Benchmarx showroom integration.
  • Ensure high standards across all departmental functions.
  • Champion a non-negotiable safety culture, prioritising the wellbeing of both team members and customers.

Your Profile

We’re looking for someone who excels in team leadership and customer-centric environments. You should:

  • Have relevant sales or operational experience (or proven leadership from another industry).
  • Demonstrate strong people skills, capable of building relationships and negotiating effectively.
  • Be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise tasks with confidence and success.
  • Be energetic, collaborative, and goal-driven.
  • Commit to the highest standards of safety and wellbeing for colleagues and customers.

A strong background in retail, logistics, or construction would be beneficial, but we welcome talent from diverse sectors.
