Role: Assistant Branch Manager

Join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team, a growing unit offering a career-defining opportunity with opportunities for management progression.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support & Team Leadership

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the branch, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor team members to help them unlock their potential and refine their skills.

Client & Commercial Excellence

  • Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional results for clients.
  • Demonstrate a client-first mindset, ensuring needs are met with high standards.
  • Analyse data and make evidence-based decisions while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Balance relationship care for existing clients with new business opportunities.

Strategic accountabiltiy

  • Make critical decisions with support from the wider business—acting decisively and ethically for clients, teams, and growth.
  • Lead with resilience, driving progress even in difficult challenges.
