Ready to make a real impact? We’re looking for a proactive and commercially savvy Assistant Branch Merchandiser to support stock allocation across our growing network of 780+ stores.
Reporting to the Branch Merchandising Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving sales and store performance by ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll help turn insight into action and contribute directly to the success of one of the UK's leading retailers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills and a passion for retail to grow their career in merchandising. This role is office based 4 days from our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool (L24), with one day working from home.
What you'll be doing:
- Execute and monitor weekly stock allocations across the store estate.
- Analyse sales and stock performance to inform replenishment decisions.
- Support promotional & seasonal activity through proactive planning/allocation.
- Liaise with Buying and Supply Chain teams to resolve stock-related issues.
- Maintain and update allocation tools and trackers in Excel.
- Identify stores with overstocking/underperformance and recommend corrective actions.
- Produce weekly reports and trade summaries.

What you'll bring:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Confidence communicating with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Previous experience in stock allocation or merchandising environment is preferred but not essential.
