Assistant Brand Manager
As we continue to grow our marketing capabilities and brand presence, we’re looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven marketer to develop their brand management career whilst taking genuine ownership of social media and content creation, working alongside our creative agency to deliver impactful, consistent brand activity across the group and all touchpoints.
This is a hands-on, in-house role where you’ll sit within our marketing team, supporting the Marketing Manager and Group Head of Marketing whilst taking direct ownership of social media, content creation and brand stewardship across multiple brands. You’ll work closely with our external creative agency to bring campaigns to life.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Develop and execute a consistent content calendar across key social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts), filming and editing short-form content (Reels & Shorts) and supporting in designing social graphics (Canva / Adobe)
- Lead community management by responding to comments, managing direct messages, and fostering positive customer relationships across all brand accounts
- Monitor industry trends, track competitor social activity, and identify opportunities for viral or trending content relevant to the industry/brand
- Plan and execute influencer partnerships, collaborations and competitions to expand brand reach where relevant
- Working with agency - manage LinkedIn & Meta organic content and paid ad management (scheduling, payment and reporting)
Brand Strategy & Campaigns
- Assist in the conceptualisation, development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, working closely with our external agencies/designers
- Write, edit and localise compelling copy for social posts, marketing materials and digital advertisements, strictly adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining a consistent tone of voice across all brands
- Coordinate product launches and promotional events alongside internal teams and our external creative agency
- Act as brand custodian across the group, ensuring all assets – digital, print and social – remain consistent, impactful and on-brand, including assisting in the creation and editing of design assets (Canva / Adobe)

Analytics & Reporting
- Utilise social and web analytics tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics) to track key performance indicators such as engagement rate, reach and follower growth
- Compile comprehensive monthly reports detailing brand performance, campaign ROI and actionable insights for future strategies
- Gather consumer insights and market data to inform future product positioning and advertising efforts
Administration & Support

Alongside the core brand and social media responsibilities, you will provide wider marketing support across the business, including:
- Organising and creating materials for trade events and exhibitions, ensuring all collateral is on-brand and delivered to agreed deadlines
- Assisting sales colleagues with marketing material requests and promotional collateral
- Maintaining and updating content across the Group's websites using WordPress
- Coordinating and distributing email communications to internal stakeholders and external audiences
- Providing general administrative and project support to the marketing team as required
- Undertaking any other ad hoc marketing duties to support business objectives
Essential
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a marketing, communications or brand-focused role
- Experience managing multiple social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences
- Experience creating and editing digital content, including photography, graphics and short-form video
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, audience engagement and current best practice
- Experience using social media management, analytics and reporting tools
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

- Degree qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline
- Experience working with WordPress or website content management systems
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design platforms
- Experience working with external agencies and creative partners
- Experience within both B2B and B2C marketing environments
- Portfolio showcasing previous content, campaign or social media work
