About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Brand Manager to join our Marketing team, working within the Away from Home channel on our Dr. Oetker Professional brand.

At Dr. Oetker UK, the Away from Home channel includes working with hotels, restaurants, activity parks, caterers, sport venues, wholesalers and more. This is one of our fastest-growing channels, so the Assistant Brand Manager role offers significant opportunity to support innovation and market-leading growth for the brand. You'll support the delivery of our strategic direction and help develop end user brand strategies that contribute to our ambitious business and brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage product renovation and innovation projects on the Dr. Oetker Professional product portfolio, ensuring end user needs are met and aligned to the brand proposition and commercial objectives.
  • Support the marketing team in developing and protecting the Dr. Oetker Professional brand positioning.
  • Manage external agencies to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • Monitor the performance of Dr. Oetker Professional brands and competitor activity, making recommendations to help deliver commercial and brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Innovation & Development, Category, Sales, Quality and Supply) to maximise efficiency in achieving business and brand objectives.

About You

  • A genuine passion for food and hospitality, with previous experience in a branded marketing environment preferred (experience working with end users or wholesalers is a bonus, but not essential).
  • Exposure to the full marketing communications mix, including digital, social, campaigns, promotions and events.
  • A collaborative and confident communicator who enjoys working with agencies, stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support strong commercial growth.
  • Highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced marketing environment.

Location

The role will be based from our Leeds Head Office (Thorpe Park, Leeds) with free on-site parking. We’re currently working to a hybrid model where a minimum of 2 days per week are spent in the office. You will be required to travel to our Leyland Production site and other external locations to meet business requirements.
