About The Role

Bel UK is looking to strengthen the team & keen to meet with potential new colleagues who would thrive in our highly dynamic working environment and who would enjoy working towards our transformational initiatives. We are particularly interested in recent business school graduates with industry knowledge & the appetite to help us further with our growth aspirations. Specifically, we are seeking an Assistant Brand Manager to work on one of our core brands in the UK, The Laughing Cow (TLC) as well the Bel UK portfolio in Ireland. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the brand plans, under the management of the Marketing Manager, in order to help achieve volume, value and profit growth, as well as KPI targets.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Brand Manager will be a team player and important member of the Marketing Team who will regularly collaborate with other cross functional colleagues including in Category, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, NPD, Quality, Regulatory as well as colleagues in the Head Office, France - Suresnes.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

  • Tracking and reporting on brand performance –sales & brand equity metrics
  • Packaging artwork development for new pack formats/designs
  • Assisting with the management of the website, social media & digital campaigns
  • Delivering brand activations in UK and Ireland e.g. sampling and social campaigns
  • Participating as team member on key commercial projects
  • Desk research to fuel insight into the team to help shape future plans
  • Contributing towards annual brand review & development of brand plan proposals
  • Assisting with operational duties across brand team
  • Be an integral part of the eCommerce cross functional UK Team
  • Occasional trips to Ireland for key meetings

Skills/Experience

Need to know/have:

  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Must be fluent in English

Nice To Have

  • Experience in FMCG market –prior placement experience
  • Knowledge and use of research data sources

Need To Be

  • Ambitious with proven track record for delivering projects and achieving results
  • Passionate about Marketing with keen interest in Brands and Consumers
  • Effective team player demonstrating strong ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Highly analytical –able to use multiples sources of information to add value and insight
  • Driven to understand problems and provide pragmatic solutions
  • Aable to take learnings and apply best practices
