CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting an Assistant Building Manager to join the team in Manchester.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Assistant Building Manager, you will supervise a team responsible for the coordination of a variety of departmental and financial activities.

This job is part of the Property Management job function. They are responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with multiple Market Leaders to identify opportunities to improve service delivery to customers.
  • Verify the database of vendor management information is accurate and up to date.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices, billings, expense reports, accounts receivables, and contract execution process.
  • Ensure service and support provided by the team is consistent and timely.
  • Responsible for review of data integrity across systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy, real estate law, and QHSE regulations.
  • Assist with the development of best practices, policies, procedures, and initiatives to support operations.
  • Participate in the internal audit process i.e. ISO Audits, LEED/WELL, CBRE QHSE Audits, etc.
  • To carry out regular inspection audits of the site core areas, including quality standards, QHSE, and any other client requirements.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3 - 5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • IOSH Managing Safely, or experience in monitoring Health & Safety compliance obligations
  • Experience working with BMS & CMMS Systems
  • Building Regulation Knowledge i.e. LOLER, PUWER, Work at Height, Fire Safety etc
  • Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a master- level inquisitive mindset.
  • Good personal organisation; time management and the ability to prioritise
