Chartered Building Surveying Opportunities in Bristol
An exciting role has opened up at an established consultancy with a national presence, based in Bristol.
Founded over 50 years ago, this company employs 50 staff across three regions, including an existing Bristol office now relocating to larger premises in the city centre to support expansion in the South West.
About the Role
Perfect for candidates who are:
- Struggling to gain the necessary experience or critical analysis for their APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) interview
- Seeking quality training focused on becoming chartered
- Recent graduates or early professionals looking for varied expertise
- Transitioning from a large corporate environment or wanting a city-centre practice
Key Offerings
- Recently, two team members have passed their APC interview (on their first attempt) within the past 12 months.
- Work alongside the National Head of Building Surveying (based in Bristol) as part of a national team of seven professionals.
- Experience handling both regional and national client bases (including professional and project-based work), primarily serving clients along the M4 corridor and South Wales.
- Access to flat management, gaining insights from business leaders.
- Investment in growing building surveying services, including expansion plans.
- Excellent employee retention, with many staff having worked with the company for over 10 years.

Preferred Applicant
- Minimum 12 months post-degree experience
- Candidates who are either working towards final APC assessment with RICS or are recently chartered
- Assessed on APC suitability and motivation for achieving chartered status

Compensation & Benefits
Package likely to include:
- £40,000 to £45,000 (basic salary) after achieving chartered status
- 25 paid vacation days (+3 extra Christmas days)

Salary adjustment will be implemented immediately upon achieving chartered professional status.
