Assistant Business Manager – Luxury Beauty
A globally recognised luxury beauty brand is seeking a commercially driven Assistant Business Manager to support the leadership of one of its highest-performing locations in the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and is passionate about beauty, artistry, client experience, and team development.
Working closely with the Business Manager, you will play a key role in leading a large, dynamic team of around 20 people, driving performance across all commercial KPIs while delivering an exceptional customer journey. The ideal candidate will come from a premium or luxury beauty background and be confident managing high footfall, elevated service standards, and a significant volume business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily leadership and performance of a large beauty team within a fast-paced luxury retail environment
- Drive sales, productivity, and client engagement through strong commercial awareness and hands-on leadership
- Lead by example on the shop floor, delivering exceptional customer service and artistry experiences
- Coach, motivate, and develop team members to consistently achieve KPI targets and service standards
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and succession planning across the team
- Build strong relationships with VIP clients and create memorable customer experiences that encourage loyalty and repeat business
- Maintain outstanding visual merchandising and operational standards at all times
- Analyse trading performance and implement action plans to maximise opportunities
- Partner closely with senior leadership and wider retail teams to support business growth and brand initiatives

About You

- Previous management experience within luxury beauty, premium retail, or a similar high-volume environment
- Strong experience leading sizeable teams in a commercially driven setting
- Confident working within a fast-paced environment with high customer traffic and demanding sales targets
- Passionate about beauty, artistry, customer experience, and team development
- A natural motivator with strong communication and leadership skills
- Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Experience managing KPIs such as ATV, conversion, UPT, and client retention
- Experience in HR ie succession planning, PDPs, L&D etc
